Amazon will donate a small proportion of your purchases to Bagillt Heritage Society providing you buy from their smile.amazon.co.uk site. You don’t have to do anything else, you don’t pay extra, but the society benefits and can use this money towards its charitable activities.

Bagillt Community Gardens
Bagillt Heritage Society has obtained the ownership of a few acres of land on the riverside near to the old railway station. Planning permission has been applied for to start a community garden on part of the land. If anyone is interested in helping to get this going, contact Chris or Brian at the Bagillt Community Library, (or for more info!)
Laxey Visit
This wheel, originally designed to use at Snaefell and taken to Cornwall and last seen in bits (see previous post) in 2005. Known now as the Lady Evelyn and previously known as the Gawns wheel, this has been restored by the Laxey and Lonan Heritage Trust. Members of Bagillt Heritage Society went to Laxey to see the wheel on 28th July 2012 and were given a warm welcome, see the attached photographs.
